This Epiphone Rivoli Electric Bass was made in 1996 in the Peerless Factory in South Korea. It is a reissue of the classic 60's Epiphone bass that brought the low-end to the sound of the British Invasion. It's resonant maple semi-hollow body construction combined with a single neck humbucker gives this instrument plenty of thump. This model is equipped with a passive tone and volume knob, as well a switch for the option to split coils- plenty of versatility for just a single humbucker. The neck has a scale length of 30.5" and is 1.55“ at the nut. The thin neck and shorter scale length makes this a great choice for someone of smaller stature.
Bass is in decent used condition. Front has minor surface scratches throughout and more noticeable pick-wear on lower horn (see photo 14). Back of instrument has pretty severe buckle rash (see photo 12). There is quite a bit of scratching around the top strap button (see photo 13). Headstock front has a decent amount of scratches and wear. All damage is strictly cosmetic and all electronics and hardware work as they should.
Included hardshell case has minor cosmetic wear on the front and back, but handle, hinges, and latches are in excellent shape.
