USED Gibson ES-135 Semi-hollow Electric Guitar with Bigsby Tremolo 1997- Transparent Cherry Red with HSC

Notify me when this product is available:

This Gibson ES-135 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar was made in 1997. This single cutaway guitar has a larger and deeper body than the ES-335 for added resonance. Most examples of this guitar were produced with a Trapeze tailpiece, but this model was part of a limited run that came with a Bigsby Tremolo system.

The Gibson P-100 pickups equipped in this guitar are actually stacked humbuckers that fit in a traditional P-90 route. They differ from the traditional PAF's you'd expect to see in a Gibson semi-hollow by having a more pronounced high-end response while still cutting down the unwanted noise.

This guitar is in very good used condition. The headstock has some scratches and chips in the paint (see photos 9-12). The back of the guitar has light buckle-rash (see photo 14). The neck joint has a small chip in the paint (see photo 15). All damage is strictly cosmetic and the electronics and hardware all function exactly as they should.

Included Gibson Custom Hardshell case is in excellent condition with minor scuffs and scratches on the tolex. Hinges, handle, and latches are in excellent condition.
