USED 1965 Gibson Skylark GA-5T Guitar Combo Amp - White Panel & Black Tolex

This amp was made in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1965. The transformer EIA code dates to the 43rd week of 1965. The GA-5 was introduced in 1954 as a student model to rival the Fender Champ. It was original named the Les Paul Junior Model. It went through many iterations over the years and this particular model is the last variation of the amp before it was discontinued in 1967. The amp features a 10 inch Gibson Ultrasonic speaker and a deep tremolo circuit. The tremolo is footswitchable via a RCA footswitch.

This amp is in excellent vintage condition and was likely closet kept. The chassis has few scratches on it. The grill cloth is in excellent shape. The control panel has a couple of small scuffs and one tiny paint chip near the power knob. The leather on the handle is worn, but doesn't have any major cracks. This amp was recently serviced by a professional amp tech. The power cord has also been updated to a modern 3 prong. There are two new JJ EL84 power tubes. The other two tubes do not appear to be original. All functions of the amp work perfectly.

Amp is missing its tremolo footswitch.
