This Guitar:

Weight: 8lbs 14.3oz

Serial Number: S782459

This guitar was made in the Fullerton Plant in California in 1978 during Fender's CBS era. It has the characteristic oversized headstock. It is in good vintage condition. The bridge has been replaced with a Kahler tremolo system and string lock at some point in the 80's based on the patent number and design of the tremolo. The tuning machines were replaced with Schallers. The electronics and pickups are original. Neither the original bridge or tuning machines are included in the sale.

The body has quite a few small nicks and scratches consistent with age and use. The edge of the back of the guitar shows the worst of this wear. The original pickguard has quite a few scratches on it all over. The neck is in good condition with a few small nicks on it. Frets are in good condition. The front of the headstock finish has quite a bit of checking. There is a ding on the top of the headstock edge. One of the screws is missing from the string lock, as is one of the ferrules from the back of the guitar. The plastics have taken on an aged appearance and some of the hardware has developed a patina including mild rust spots. The input jack has quite a few scratches on it. All electronics and hardware function as they should.
